Last week, Governor Evers vetoed five Wisconsin bills that were intended to keep boys out of girls’ sports, protect minors from irreversible so-called “gender-affirming” drugs and surgeries, hold medical professionals accountable for performing gender-related surgeries, and affirm biological reality. Legislators and lobbyists who supported these bills have expressed disappointment at Evers’ decision to veto this legislation arguing that the Governor is ignoring the voice of the people.

Governor Evers’ has put women, children, and families even further at risk in the pursuit of promoting a radical gender ideology. Girls deserve to feel safe when they play sports, minors deserve protection from irreversible drugs and surgeries that many grow to regret, and our state laws should affirm biological reality.
