A new Rasmussen survey, according to Christian post, found that about 60% of American adults believe “Drag Queen Story Hour” events featuring men dressed as women are inappropriate for children. The survey also found that 71% of respondents believe Drag Queen Story Hour should not receive any taxpayer funding. The New York Post reported in June that in New York City alone, since 2018, taxpayers have paid more than $200,000 to fund the program.

If your library has hosted one of these so-called “story hours” for pre-schoolers, taxpayer funds have been involved since that is the source of most library funding. These programs are not innocent entertainment; they’re designed to break down God-given male/female distinctives. Citizen input to library boards and directors can make a real difference on this issue.
