Roger & Joanne Stecker

Roger and Joanne will be married 75 years on September 30, 2025! Their story began in June of 1949 while Roger was working on the Voight farm in the town of Vinland. It was there where he met Joanne, the farmer’s granddaughter.
They were married in a small ceremony in 1950, but their blessings were big! They have 10 children, 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
After working hard for many years and devoting all their time to their family, they were able to find time for themselves! They moved from Franklin, where they lived for 38 years, to retire in Oshkosh.
During their retirement years, they enjoyed volunteering, being Florida snowbirds and traveling all over the world. Now, at ages 92, they’re content staying close to home and spending time with family!
Marriage Advice: There are two words to a happy marriage….”Yes, Dear”!!!
