Bob and MaryAnn Pearce met at the roller rink in Delavan, Wisconsin, and were married on June 18, 1955.
They began their life together by renting the Red Brick House Farm in rural Walworth, where they milked cows and grew hay and corn. Their family grew quickly, welcoming three children in their first three years of marriage. With the arrival of their fourth child in 1964, they moved one mile east on the same road where they continue to live today.
They expanded their farming operation to include peas and sweet corn, continued their dairy business, and welcomed their fifth child. Sweet corn was sold from a picnic table in their yard, and from these humble beginnings, Pearce’s Farm Stand was born. Today, their son, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren help operate this thriving family business at the corner of Highways F and 67, offering farm-grown produce, flowers, and seasonal fall decorations.
Throughout their lives, Bob and MaryAnn given back to their community—serving on local boards, supporting nonprofit organizations, contributing to their church, and providing in-kind donations to charitable causes.
During the winter months, they travel throughout the United States and internationally, enjoying new experiences, meeting friends, and exploring local cultures. Their curiosity, sense of humor, and strong work ethic continue to live on through their five children, six grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
