Ken & Kate Cisar

Ken and Kate Cisar were married on February 11, 1950. They just celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary.

They have six children, 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren. They spent many years giving back to Oconto County‘s youth by being 4-H leaders of the Little River 4-H Club for 60 years. It is still the longest running club in Oconto County. They have also been heavily involved with the 4-H Leaders Association, Oconto County Fair Board, Oconto County Fairest of the Fair, the Rural Urban committee, Oconto County Dairy Promotions; where they were the pioneers of the Oconto County Breakfast on the Farm, and active members of their local church, First American Lutheran Church of Oconto. Ken always said, “I may not be a millionaire, but I gave a million-dollar family!” Ken and Kate are truly blessed!

Marriage Advice: Ken says of a long-time marriage that you have to do things together and then you’ll stay together. Kate says to keep the humor in your relationship.
