John & Patricia Ruder

We both grew up in Marshfield. John went into the service after high school, then to college in California. Patricia worked at the Marshfield Clinic. When John came back to Marshfield we started dating and got married at Our Lady of Peace Church on May 21, 1960.
Our first son was born in June of 1961 and second son in 1964. After 27 years on the Marshfield Fire Department John retired. Patricia was a stay at home mom till the boys were in school then she worked part time till they were in college. She was director of the Outreach at St. Vincent de Paul till 2010 when she retired. We traveled in U.S. and 3 trips abroad. Now we enjoy walking outdoors, reading and visiting family.
