Carl & Valeria Bork

Carl & Valeria Bork

My parents were married in 1956, at age 23. They have 3 children: daughter Delores (writing this story), son David, and son John. Together this family has farmed the Bork homestead in Central Wisconsin ever since it was passed on from Carl’s parents–the original settlers. From milking cows, as well as raising pigs and chickens, the farm has transitioned to a single-family dairy farm, operated by middle son David.

With patience and persistence, Carl and Valeria have built a resilient family, an amazing home, expanded the farm; and given us the enduring values of love for God, love and respect for each other, and a strong rural work ethic. We three “kids” feel truly blessed to have won life’s parent lottery. Thanks to Carl and Valeria, our lives are rich with love and purpose, which are the anchors that have made each of us successful in our own lives.
