I first saw SonjaLou at Turner Hall in Monroe WI in Sept of 1958. We danced a circle two step, and we have been going in circle’s ever since!! We were married on May 3rd, 1958 at the Woodford Methodist Church, Woodford WI. We were married by Pastor Ray Robinson. At the time, I was a hired hand on the farm of Robert Wheinger, but I went into truck driving for Perdue Trucking of Woodford. We began farming on halve’s in 1961 and in the process we/she gave birth to our 4 children. We left the farm in 1971, and I got into the Cheese-making Profession, became licensed in 1974, and SonjaLou worked nights at Advance Transformer in Monroe. In the fortune’s of life, the Cheese Co. where I was employed went bankrupt in April of 1991. After a summer of doing farm labor, and collecting unemployment, I became a bulk milk hauler for Valley-View Cheese-CO-OP and stayed there till retiring in 1999. Since then, I did relief milk hauling and school bus driving, but now I am fully retired, and we spend winters in Mesa, AZ, where our younger daughter owns a house, then we commute back to Argyle, Wi for the summer months. Life has not always been a HAPPY trip, but GOD is GOOD, and we are still LOVING!!
