Leslie grew up in Mayville Michigan. She attended Maranatha Baptist University and graduated with a degree in accounting. She began working for Wisconsin Family Action six months after graduating. After working in the office for six years, Leslie moved back to Michigan to be closer to family.

She has a beloved dog named Winston (which the whole office adores). Leslie works with the Awana program on Wednesdays at her church as well as in the 2-3 yr old class on Sundays.
