WILL’s Annual Apples to Apples Report

WILL’s Annual Apples to Apples Report

Parents can evaluate the best educational options.

Last month, Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty released their annual Apples to Apples report. Researchers found, once again, that students in Wisconsin’s choice programs continue to outperform their public-school peers in English Language Arts and Math in both the Milwaukee school choice program and the statewide choice program. This report is significant because it levels the playing field for comparing how all schools are performing and gives parents an opportunity to evaluate educational options based on proficiency rates in core subjects.

These results are especially important right now after public school districts recently sued the state legislature for allowing state education funds to follow students in choice programs. Parents have the right to choose the best educational option for their child, and their tax dollars should follow that choice.
