February with National Marriage Week and Valentine’s Day is a great time to celebrate marriage and the many benefits it brings to the husband and wife, as well as to children, and even to entire communities and thus to our state and nation. To honor the institution of marriage and individual marriages, Wisconsin Family Council is looking for the longest-married couples in our state so they can be inducted into the Wisconsin Marriage Hall of Fame. Couples married for at least sixty years are eligible. Applications are available at wifamilycouncil.org.

We launched this effort last year and inducted eleven couples into the Marriage Hall of Fame. The longest-married couple had been married 74 years! We invite eligible couples across the state to apply. Other people can nominate eligible couples as well. Applications are due by February 20th. The new inductees will be announced at the end of the month
