States Fight Back Against Mail-Order Abortion Drugs

It's time to protect women and children.

Twenty-one states recently signed an amicus brief supporting Louisiana in their fight to stop mail-order abortion drugs from entering their state. During the Biden Administration, the FDA lifted the legal requirement for abortion drugs to be taken in the presence of a physician. Since then, these drugs have been distributed to woman across the US through the mail, even in states that have abortion bans. Louisiana, which has an abortion ban in place, is rightly arguing that the policy violates their state laws by allowing abortion providers to serve customers in the state.

Our sister organization Wisconsin Family Action has signed onto a similar amicus brief in this case. States with protections for unborn children should not have to worry about mail-order abortion drugs coming into their state. It’s time for the FDA to protect women and honor state laws that protect children.
