SCOTUS Hears Two Cases on Saving Women’s Sports

Women deserve their own spaces.

On Tuesday, the United States Supreme Court heard oral arguments for two cases that will decide whether passing laws to keep men out of women's sports violates the Fourteenth Amendment's equal protection clause and Title IX. The two state laws in question were passed in Idaho and West Virginia. The Attorneys General for both states have expressed confidence that these laws will pass any test for both Fourteenth Amendment and Title IX violations.

Women deserve to be safe, have their privacy protected, and earn their place on a team or in a division without the unfair and unsafe disadvantage of a male opponent or teammate. Our Constitution does not protect a man's right to invade women's spaces, and acknowledging biological reality is not discrimination. We are confident that the Supreme Court will agree.
