On this New Year’s Day, we reflect on the year just passed and look hopefully to the year ahead. Today is a great time to gather family members and begin the year reading the Bible and praying together, thanking God for the blessings of the past year and asking for His wisdom for the days ahead. It’s also a perfect opportunity to talk about some family resolutions for the new year, such as increasing the number of times each week the entire family eats a meal together.
Everyone loves a clean slate—and the first day of a new year gives us just that! Family resolutions can help everyone grow in the days together, and they also strengthen those family bonds. Here’s to a year of family growth and strengthening! Happy New Year from all of us at Wisconsin Family Council!
