Madison East High School is postponing a planned drag show after conservatives on social media raised awareness of the event, claiming that the public scrutiny has become a “safety” issue. Prior to the so-called family friendly event scheduled for January 19th, Libs of TikTok, a popular conservative social media account highlighted the event and noted that the LGBTQ plus community blatantly says it wants to use it to “celebrate, affirm, and support EHS students and staff in our LGBTQIA+ as well as our larger school community.”

“Family-friendly” drag show is an oxymoron. Drag shows are inherently NOT family friendly. I highly doubt the school had any serious safety concerns but were receiving significant pressure from all angles to back off this very bad idea. Madison East students need help in reading, writing, and math; they don’t need any more indoctrination in this deviancy.
