For many years Vic Eliason has been battling cancer.  He never made a significant issue of his cancer, because he always wanted the focus to be on the Lord, and on the ministry God had called him to.

The many years of treatments have taken a toll upon his physical body.  Vic knew his days upon this earth were in the Lord’s hands and took advantage of each day to advance God’s kingdom.

“We were saddened to learn that one of our long-time ministry partners, Vic Eliason of VCY America, passed away this past Saturday. As the founder of VCY America and all its related ministries, Vic had an enormous impact on Christian media, especially radio, in Wisconsin. His voice was heard by tens of thousands each day in Wisconsin and around the country, as his message challenged, encouraged and edified listeners.  Vic helped Wisconsin Family Council learn the basics of radio work and was always willing to give us advice on making our programming better. We extend our sympathies and our prayers on behalf of his wife and family during this time of loss.”
