Sheboygan passes ban on so-called “conversion therapy” for minors; Bans aimed at Christians

Earlier this week the city of Sheboygan passed a ban on so-called “conversion therapy” for minors dealing with unwanted same-sex attraction or gender confusion. Racine also recently passed such an ordinance. Now the Racine School district is requiring LGBT “safe zone” training for elementary-school level counselors and social workers. The training is being provided by the LGBT Center of Southeastern Wisconsin. In addition to heightening awareness to bullying, the training includes making sure personnel use whatever pronouns students want.

We need to recognize these conversion therapy bans are aimed at Christians—no one else. Also it’s critical parents understand it is their children those advancing this agenda are wanting and are actively recruiting. That such training is happening in Racine schools means it’s happening elsewhere in our state as well. Parents, it’s time to be proactive to protect your children.
