Thanksgiving 2022. 401 years after the first thanksgiving in 1621, we are still setting aside a day to give thanks to Almighty God for His provision and protection over the past year. Thanksgiving is an enduring holiday—in spite of the liberal revisionists who do their best to disparage the real history. The record shows those early settlers celebrated with family and friends—both new and old—and purposefully gave thanks to Almighty God for His good hand upon them. May we continue to follow their example.
Thanksgiving too often gets reduced to Black Friday and the kick-off to Christmas. This uniquely American holiday provides great opportunities to express gratitude—to God, to family and friends, and to others who have helped and encouraged us along the way. Wisconsin Family Council wishes you a day filled with expressions of gratitude for the blessings you enjoy.
Our mission is to advance Judeo-Christian principles and values in Wisconsin by strengthening, preserving, and promoting marriage, family, life and liberty.
