Nearly three dozen House Republicans were slated to take to the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives last Thursday to discuss the importance of faith and prayer as the nation finds itself in the midst of “spiritual warfare.” Representative Rick Allen from Georgia and the House Republican Conference want to host a special-order hour on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives to allow members of Congress to talk about the impact prayer has on their lives. The special hour order was to take place in advance of this Thursday’s National Day of Prayer.
Unfortunately, this special-order hour didn’t happen last week because Representative Allen tested positive for COVID. We hope this will be rescheduled because it is so important and so encouraging. There is a bipartisan Congressional Prayer Caucus with fifty-four members. One of our eight Wisconsin members of the US House, Representative Glenn Grothman, is part of that caucus.
Our mission is to advance Judeo-Christian principles and values in Wisconsin by strengthening, preserving, and promoting marriage, family, life and liberty.
