Late last week in a brief press conference, US Attorney General Merrick Garland told Americans he had “personally approved the decision to seek a search warrant” that led to the FBI raid on former-President Donald Trump’s Florida estate. Garland said the Department of Justice, which he leads, had probable cause, and the warrant was authorized by a federal judge. Lifesitenews.com reports the raid “stunned the nation” and drew widespread condemnation as “the corrupt action of a banana republic.”
"We’ll rightly hear a great deal about this raid. Meanwhile, in spite of Senator Ron Johnson and the Wisconsin republican representatives in Congress pressing Attorney General Merrick, we’ve heard absolutely nothing from the FBI about the investigation regarding the fire-bombing attack on our office fourteen weeks ago—no person apprehended or questioned. Nothing."
