Governor Evers has announced “Wisconsin Waters” as the theme for the 2022 State Capitol Christmas Tree and invited students to contribute handmade ornaments celebrating what Wisconsin’s waterways mean to them. The tree is displayed in the rotunda of the Capitol throughout the holiday season. This year students are encouraged to explore Wisconsin’s waterways for inspiration, including wildlife, the state’s rich maritime history, and recreational and outdoor activities. Ornaments must be received by November 22nd.
We hope many home-schooled and Christian school students will be part of this opportunity to decorate the Christmas tree in the Capitol rotunda. It’s fun and is a great way to very often give a different perspective about the theme. For more information about submitting ornaments, call us at 888-378-7395.
