Life news reports that earlier this week a California legislative committee held a public hearing on a bill that legalizes the killing of unborn children throughout all nine months of pregnancy and also decriminalizes killing newborns days or even weeks after birth. The proposal shields a mother from civil and criminal charges for any “actions or omissions” related to her pregnancy, “including miscarriage, stillbirth, or abortion, or perinatal death.” Definitions of “perinatal death” vary, but all include the death of newborns seven days or more after birth.
Yes, this is California, not Wisconsin. But this is a real-life example of how far pro-abortionists are now willing to go. Elections sometimes have life-and-death consequences. When lawmakers holding this worldview get elected in California or anywhere else including in our state, this kind of infanticide proposal could be introduced, passed, and signed into law.
Our mission is to advance Judeo-Christian principles and values in Wisconsin by strengthening, preserving, and promoting marriage, family, life and liberty.
