Mothers’ Day is Sunday and National Day of Prayer is tomorrow (more info below). Both days are special and important. On National Day of Prayer, Wisconsin Family Council is encouraging moms throughout the state to pray for their families—especially for their children. Praying mothers shape the nation because they shape the very future of the nation. As Abraham Lincoln said, “I remember my mother’s prayers and they have always followed me. They have clung to me all my life.”
If there was ever a time that children needed the prayers of their mothers, it is today. No one prays for their children like a mother. Wisconsin Family Council invites Wisconsin moms—and dads, too—to join us tomorrow from noon to one at the South Hamilton entrance of the state capitol for a special time of prayer which will include praying for our families, the very foundation of our state and nation.
