Late last month Governor Scott Walker issued a formal proclamation declaring this week Christian Heritage Week in Wisconsin. The idea of this week is compelling. Sponsored by Christian Heritage Ministries the annual recognition is intended to remind people of the truth of our nation’s beginning and much of our history—we were founded on Christian principles and have had many Christian leaders, who as Governor Walker says in the proclamation, “were statesmen of caliber and integrity who did not hesitate to express their faith.”

Since the mainstream media have ignored this proclamation and the public schools won’t cover it, the best way for people to know about Christian Heritage Week is one family at a time.
