Wisconsin Family Council believes that a key element in restoring a culture’s society is raising up Christians who are equipped with godly character to be leaders in their families, schools, and professions. Julaine Appling, president of WFC, visited LEAD Michigan in 2019. She observed LEAD MI in action and was struck by the unique and dynamic experience it offered. She knew Wisconsin Family Council needed to bring the program to Wisconsin.
And now, here we are!
Not your typical summer camp!
At LEAD WI, we believe the best time to start being a leader is NOW, and the best way to learn is to DO IT! That’s why we’re launching an authentic leadership simulation where high-school students have the opportunity to experience the roles of community leaders first-hand in their state capitol. Mix that in with engaging Biblical worldview discussions, faith-building worship, compelling chapel, a hearty dose of recreational activities, and lifelong relationships built throughout the week…and you’ve got a pretty good idea of what LEAD WI looks like!
Due to the COVID-19 situation, we are still planning on LEAD Wisconsin this Summer and have had to make adjustments.
We are excited to announce LEAD Online, a new hybrid program that will take place through an online, interactive format! We are partnering with LEAD Michigan, Minnesota and Iowa to bring this engaging camp to you! This allows us to continue our mission to empower the next generation of leaders even though we cannot meet in person. We will continue to engage students through dynamic biblical worldview instruction and practical leadership training.
