Before you go to the polls on Tuesday, November 8, or if you are voting early/absentee voting, it’s important to know what the party platforms are so you can see how they align with your core values.

Q. What is a “political platform?”

A.  A political platform is a formal set of principal goals which are supported by a political party or individual candidate, in order to appeal to the general public, for the ultimate purpose of garnering the general public’s support and votes about complicated topics or issues.
